Painted Hall Dinner - 3rd December 2011

Our Painted Hall Dinner had a huge resonance with the memory of Scott. We sat down in the same place Scott dined while taking his Lieutenants exams in 1888.  100 years ago, on the 3rd December, he was on his way to the South Pole, so the memory of Scott and his achievements were very much to the fore when we toasted his spirit and endeavour at our commemoration event.
